Bash
A widely used Unix shell
A common command shell on Linux and many servers. Modern macOS uses zsh as the default login shell, although Bash is still installed and many scripts explicitly target it.
Concrete example
A setup guide that says “run this in Bash” may work in zsh too, but shell-specific syntax can differ.
